11 Months

I still haven't had a chance to take 11 month pictures of Tate. Well, I take that back - today I had a chance, but my camera battery died. Typical, huh? So here is a one picture 11 month post. Maybe I can add more later.

Only one more month until my sweet baby is one!!! Is it okay that I haven't finished the invitation or ordered it, but I know when and where the party is and just want to send an evite because I feel like I'm too late? Maybe just send a save the date - invitations will be in as soon as possible?

Nonetheless! Tate is so amazing. Simply amazing.

Tate wears 12-18 month clothes and size 4 diapers.

He eats around 3-4 six ounce bottles a day, 3 meals, and a snack. He is no longer a fan of baby food! He has almost sworn it off altogether. He still loves yogurt and real bananas, and he is a huge fan of biscuits and rolls.

Tate still takes either 2 two hour naps or 1 four hour nap, and he sleeps from around 6 or 7 pm to 6 am when we wake him up. He doesn't want to be rocked; he wants to be put down. This would bother me if he wasn't a cuddle bug when he was awake.

He still won't walk though!! Not even one step!! He will stand freely and balance well - even turn up a bottle or drink, but he won't move his feet! If you hold his hands and try to help him walk he pitches the biggest fit! He has no desire, so we are just encouraging him without pushing him too much. He will walk when he is ready, I suppose.

Tate lights up when Jonathan gets home in the evening. He gets excited and wants "Poppy" to pick him up immediately. If Jonathan doesn't - Tate fusses at him!

He still LOVES his sister so very much. He follows her around, plays with her, and "talks" to her. Here recently he started pouncing on her too - which I find hilarious.

Tate still just has the same four teeth. I got a great shot of them the other day so you could see what a pumpkin face he has. I just giggle at this picture; it is precious!



Tate LOVES balls and toys with wheels. He throws any and all toys too. He is 100% boy when it comes to toys and playing.

He LOVES to romp around on the couch and bed. I believe it is his favorite activity.

Tate loves anything silky, cool, and soft. He will rub it all over his face and snuggle it. I couldn't find a lovie that matched his favorite materials, so I made him one. It isn't perfection, but I am very proud of it. I made Addison one in pink because I knew she wouldn't let me get away with just making one for Tate. Fortunately, she loves hers a lot too!
